Residential Childcare Workers

Location: Staffordshire, West Midlands
Salary: Excellent Rates of pay, DOE
Contract: Full time, Part Time and Bank Workers Required

Due to continued growth and expansion, our client are now looking for Residential Childcare Workers to join their experienced and friendly teams supporting children aged 10-17.

Their typical working pattern is 24-hour shifts (including sleepovers) on a rota basis, although they will consider other working patterns where they fit the needs of the young people in the home.

Required Skills/Experience of their Residential Childcare Workers:

They currently have vacancies for Senior Childcare Workers and Qualified Childcare Workers - to be successful in your application for this role you must hold the QCF Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).

In addition to this they are recruiting for unqualified Residential Childcare Workers as well as those who hold similar Health and Social Care/Childcare qualifications and are willing to undertake the QCF Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce (Social Care Pathway).

Due to the nature of this vacancy and the children the successful candidate will be responsible for all of our Residential Childcare workers must be over the age of 21 and will ideally hold a full UK driving license. Ideally you should have experience of working in residential care, although other relevant experience will be considered.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide satisfactory references.
