Opportunity for a Contingent Workforce Consultant to join our large OEM client for a 44 week contract in Whitley, Coventry.

Responsibilities of the role include:

- Embed the Contingent Labour Policy by developing relationships with key stakeholders, working to support compliance and challenging non-compliance. This will involve troubleshooting issues and Contingent Labour supplier management
- Development of functional rate card, including optimisation of job titles and job descriptions, and externally benchmarking proposed rates to ensure market value
- Reviewing functional workforce make ups to understand where opportunities/risks exist and making recommendations for improvements and supporting the implementation of such recommendations. For example, the creation of business cases to support the creation of headcount boxes to support the insourcing of services currently undertaken by service providers where to do so would be more appropriate
- Business partnering, as it relates to ensuring contingent resource requirements are met
- Issuing guidance on the use of contingent labour, through working with OGC, Finance, PR and Tax
- Working with Business Assurance, Health and Safety and Property to help manage contingent workforce risks

Skills & Experience Required:

- Ability to communicate, engage and influence at all levels, establishing strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Supplier management, setting performance metrics in conjunction with the business and ensuring metrics are met, with any issues analysed and addressed.
- Data analysis; ability to gather, validate and use data in a meaningful way to influence the creation of, and obtain buy in for, strategic proposals.
- University Degree in HR, Business or related discipline
- PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
- Experience in a Corporate environment preferred
- Experience/knowledge of the recruitment/temporary staffing industry and market preferred
