Crane Installation Manager
Our client is a leading UK crane manufacturer, specialising in the design, production, delivery and installation of standard and bespoke products all over the world. The business is well established across a wide variety of industrial sectors and has a strong reputation built on design excellence and strong service delivery
Due to continued growth of the business, the company is looking for talented individuals to join this highly professional team.
The Installation Manager will be responsible for liaising with the Design, Procurement and Production teams to ensure the end product is manufactured according to specific client requirements and within the necessary timescales.
Time management, planning, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are all integral to this position. You will be required to check all components against the bespoke design drawings and to ensure all components are ready to be shipped within the allotted timescales. An essential part of the role will be to make certain the client has all relevant installation equipment on site prior to the arrival of their product, as any hiccups can be detrimental to the smooth continuation of the overall project.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a conscious and proactive attitude towards health and safety and is able to write and carry out RAMS efficiently. Experience of lifting, erecting cranes, or within a heavy industrial industry would be advantageous. A clear understanding of CDM regulations and an AP2 or SSSTS qualification will be required in order to be considered for this position.
