A fantastic opportunity has arisen for SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers in an outstanding and modern Special Needs school and residential home in Telford. This beautiful school has been rated "Outstanding" by OFSTED and has fantastic facilities for the students and staff including gardens, a soft play room and cinema room.

The school is for young adults aged 8 - 19 who have various abilities, from autism and moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs. The post requires talented SEND RSW / Special Educational Needs Residential Support Workers who are flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting young adults with educational needs. The team are welcoming, friendly and dedicated to the school and students.

To work in this setting you MUST;

*Be comfortable providing personal care
*Have experience working in special needs settings
*Able to be flexible with shifts. There is the prospect of longer days during school holidays as well as waking night shifts.

The role will include working 1:1 with students and supporting them during their day before and after classes. This will include waking them and putting them to bed and supervising meal times .

You will be part of a great team and able to chaperone on some great days out with the students.
