Based: Warwick University

Working within a team investigating human factors and ergonomics issues of autonomous on and off road vehicles. Working with mainstream engineering, Universities, external third party agents and suppliers, and with their own ideas, will generate reports and presentations to gain approval for HMI designs. The work will involve developing requirements and test plans for user trials of prototype and eventually production systems in this rapidly evolving area. Trust and Safety will also be considered, working with a parallel team of functional safety experts, and the engineering delivery teams.

Skills Required:

Formal qualification (degree) in Human Factors, Ergonomics or related subject.

Excellent ability in a variety of communication methods, including written work in English and presentation of intricate logical arguments,

Appreciation of engineering delivery methods, specifications and validation (user trials) result analysis.

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of a significant number of the following: Automatic / Autonomous systems Driving Advanced Driver Assistance systems User experience / customer focus
