Real Estate Legal PA


Peritus Plus are pleased to consider applications for the position of Real Estate Legal PA in Birmingham.

They have 2,500 lawyers in six continents with a presence in the world's major financial and commercial markets.


- Providing an effective organisational and administrative support service to a busy team of fee earners who specialise in acting for large PLC developer clients
- Assisting with the processing of land registry forms and other legal documentation
- Assisting with the issue of contract packs to solicitors
- Attending to clients and other solicitors on the telephone, taking messages and assisting generally with the conveyancing process
- Producing accurate documents and overseeing the case management system (training will be provided)
- Assisting with monthly billing and other related financial administration
- Opening and closing of electronic files
- Using a case management system to process and progress cases
- Taking telephone calls and messages, handling queries and enquiries
- Archiving, storage and retrieval of documentation (electronic and paper versions)
- Typing documents and correspondence
- Processing incoming and outgoing post and arranging couriers
- General administrative tasks including; photocopying, filing, printing and archiving

Skills and Experience

- Ideally 6 months legal secretarial experience gained within a real estate team
- Experience of inputting SDLT, carrying out searches and Land Registry applications
- A minimum grade C pass at GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
- Confidence with IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and ideally PowerPoint
