Logistics Administrator
Location: Birmingham
Contract type: Permanent
35 hours per week
Salary: GBP 18,805 per annum


About the role

This role involves the administration of a UK-wide consistent logistics model at an EFA logistics Hub. The administrator will be required to support the implementation of nationally agreed EFA & AS development plans enabling staff and volunteers to be involved in all relevant aspects of EFA & AS projects. They will be responsible for supporting the delivery of quality standards within their hub to ensure resources which provide the service user with the highest standard of care.

Event First Aid (EFA) aims to be a national provider of choice; providing safe, high-quality, life-saving responses for the thousands of people we see at the events each year.

The professionalism, care and compassion of our staff and volunteers ensures that the people we help, along with visitors, spectators and participants at events leave with a positive impression of the British Red Cross and the support we provide.

Our key activities:

  • Providing first aid cover for public events
  • Treating casualties with dignity and respect
  • Training our first aiders to a high standard


About the person

  • Excellent writing skills including the ability to prepare statistical reports and analytical data
  • Highly Organised
  • Ability to prioritise essential work while working under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent by experience)
  • Full driving licence with at least 2 years' experience and access to own car
