Finance Manager required on a temporary to permanent basis by a market leading organisation. You will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and responsible for supervising a small team.

Duties will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Preparation or year end statutory pack for audit
  • Preparation and review of annual budgets
  • Produce monthly P&L and cashflow forecasts
  • Attend and present monthly figures at area business meetings
  • Analyse and/or prepare monthly financial information, primarily through the use of project accounting
  • Communicate financial reports to upper and lower level management
  • Help manage the general ledger
  • Cashbook reconciliation
  • Implement and maintain financial controls

To be considered for this position you will need to be:

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified with financial accounting knowledge
  • Analytical and logical problem solving skills
  • A good business understanding
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • An ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
  • Honesty and discretion
  • Team working
  • Previous experience managing work in progress from a facilities management or construction background
  • Microsoft Office competent, particularly Excel
