Our client, based in Shrewsbury, is looking for a Project Coordinator reporting to the Associate Director, Service Implementation EMEA

The Project Coordinator ensures the effective and timely implementation of lower level projects and assists the Project Management and Service Delivery teams with customer billing of time and materials work.
In addition, they will process Product Sales orders and cover end-to-end functions needed for efficient delivery of equipment.

Key Area of Responsibility:
• Processing of service time, materials and billing approvals.
• Project management of lower level projects (including initiating, planning, implementation, closing, managing resources, cost/schedule control, reporting)
• Liaising with the Global Supply Chain group in the procurement and logistics of equipment and services.
• Liaise with Network Operations and Field Engineering for the assignment of technical resources for the project.
• Customer and vendor liaison related to projects
• Conduct regular meetings to review major milestones and deliverables in the project plan and manage ongoing customer expectations throughout the implementation life cycle.
• Manage project budget, control expenditures, track project costs, and report on cost variances against project budget.
• Project handover to Customer Support and Operations teams to enable ongoing support for customer services ensuring all project documentation has been completed.
• Assist Sales and Pre-Sales with preparation of tenders or proposals (related to project management, procurement, logistics and support)
• Develop and manage project documentation (general and project/customer specific)
• Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
• Coordinate with Field Engineering, Customer Support and Operations teams as required to deliver customer requirements.
• Identify project scope changes and prepare job change notices for submittal to clients.
• Liaise with Legal for Licensing, appropriate inductions, clearances etc.
• Ensure with finance that billing of projects and product sales is completed.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company HSE policies and procedures.
• Any other tasks as directed and ad-hoc projects as assigned

• Managing correct time and material billing to clients

Graduation from a recognised college or university with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in computer science information systems, engineering, business or a related field.

Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent

Previous experience in the telecommunication or satellite communication industry and in applying Project Management principles.
