Posted By: Kensington Consulting Ltd Role: CNC Turner/Fanuc Location: Staffordshire Role: To meet the demands of increased growth and expansion the company is looking to recruit a number of CNC Turners for both day shift and night shifts. The role of a CNC Turner involves producing extremely high quality components from various metals and materials, programming machines with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls and generating programmes. You will also be required to carry out first-off inspection, identify drawing errors and, as the company operates a Continuous Improvement ethos, you will also be encouraged to suggest improvements to product design to produce a higher quality product in a more economical run time. Person: As a time served / HNC qualified Mechanical Engineer you will have previous experience within a CNC machining environment. You must also have experience in the machining of various metals and composites. You must be able to interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances along with good team working skills and delivering results to set deadlines.
