They are currently seeking an experienced Pensions Administrator who can work on all types of trust based occupational pension schemes including Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Hybrid, CARE and AVC.Responsibilities To process accurately the full range of member event administration and related tasks including calculation and communication of pension scheme benefits, ensuring all work is carried out to current procedures, corporate styles and legislative requirements. To process accurately the full range of periodic tasks for schemes, including annual renewals, benefit statements, valuation data, Group Life data, annual CARE calculations, pension increases. Produce Administration Reports and other required reports ready for peer review. Deal directly with members, trustees and clients responding accurately and appropriately to any enquiries raised. Prioritise and plan own work, identifying and communicating potential bottlenecks/problem areas to your team manager Review and analyse processes used in day-to-day activities actively seeking ways to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of these. Be actively involved in the work required to design, develop and implement the changes. Actively participate in training that is arranged, taking responsibility for increasing own skill level. Maintain knowledge by keeping up to date with procedures, circulars, newsletters etc. Candidates will have experience of working within occupational pension administration and will of course have a strong customer focus.
