Planning Assistant Scheduler
About the Role
The objective for this role is to operate both SAP Workforce Management and Click Scheduler for a particular area, to provide administrative, job evaluation and work scheduling support to the Catchment team. You will ensure full compliance with all customer, regulatory and company standards are met, whilst also ensuring that SAP and CLICK are configured to enable full auto scheduling of workforce management tasks. As part of this role you will be responsible for promoting and leading a safe working environment, whilst creating SAP orders for inspection and maintenance work activities relating to sewer network ancillary assets when required. You will work to ensure that the highest priority activities are undertaken in a timely fashion, whilst also scheduling miscellaneous network inspections and planned maintenance activities to the STW technician team.
You will ideally have experience of using SAP and CLICK programmes, alongside process improvement experience. Also beneficial for this role would be Excel experience and previous exposure to a planning and scheduling working environment. You will have an O-Level, GCSE, or equivalent qualification in Maths and English, as well as a full UK driving licence. In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have the ability to follow instructions, alongside the ability to plan and organise your own work area. You will have good communication skills, as well as competent IT skills. Ideally, the successful candidate will also have the ability to identify opportunities within this role to drive progress and deliver both a faster and better overall service.
