Customer Service Team Leader (Atlantic House)

We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right.

With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening 80 new stores per year. Which means it's even more important to keep our customers happy. And that's where our Customer Service team comes in.

As a Team Leader you'll be involved in a whole range of activities. From making sure your team are ready to go that little bit further for customers to feeding information through to the business, you'll have the flexibility to do what it takes to keep customers coming back to our stores. It's about having a positive, can-do attitude and being good with people, motivating your team to treat customers as they would wish to be treated, whilst answering their queries and leaving them with the best impression of Aldi. And something that keeps them coming back to our stores.

We are currently based in Tamworth whilst our Head Office in Atherstone gets a makeover, but the plan is to move back once the building is fully geared up to cope with our growth.

We are now looking for Customer Service Team Leaders who can lead from the front and deliver exceptional customer service to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage systems and processes, ensuring an efficient and cooperative working environment
  • Ensuring highest standard of customer service, concluding escalated complaints and resolving on first contact where possible
  • Efficient and organised filing system, meeting due diligence and legal audit requirements
  • Monitor real time performance
  • Motivate the team, performance management, coaching and training
  • Compliance culture; adhering to Service Compliance Framework, Business Rules and Data Integrity
Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or above
  • Contact Centre management experience
  • Complaint handling and resolution experience
  • Able to use multiple in-house and Microsoft IT systems
  • Excellent communication skills
You’ll be flexible to working evenings and weekends according to business needs.
