Asset Data Strategy Manager
You will be accountable for the overall quality of asset data.
You will be accountable for ensuring that we accurately capture the asset data we require to operate effectively. You will design and deliver the strategies to improve and deliver quality asset data. You will be responsible for the Asset Data requirements for ST's OFWAT Annual Performance Returns.
A Proven track record of leading, inspiring and developing a diverse team * Experience of using analytics to identify, evaluate and present insight from various sources of complex information to drive continuous improvement. * Proven track record of managing complex opex and capex budgets* Evidence of managing complex change and continual improvement strategies. * Proven track record of achieving excellent performance standards. * Evidence of outstanding communication, presentation, influencing and motivation skills. * MS Office literate.
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have: * Ability to set an example of exemplar performance standards in all interactions internally and externally through excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships. * Ability to see the 'big picture' by being alert to emerging issues and trends which may have an impact; understanding how asset data activities and strategies come together to create value for the customer; * Ability to provide real added value insight and interpretation of performance outcomes, & potential risks and opportunities and to articulate and clearly frame these appropriate for the audience. * Proven ability of effective decision making by recognising patterns and trends in data and drawing risk based conclusions even if they prove difficult or unpopular. * A passion for health, safety and wellbeing and proven track record of integrating relevant policies, regulatory and statutory requirements into "business as usual". * Proven commercial acumen based on robust data collection and analysis to facilitate effective evaluation of options including, but not limited to, alternative ways of working with partners and community to deliver more efficient outcomes. * Ability to set realistic but challenging priorities, goals, objectives and timescales and monitor delivery at pace through effective performance management. * Ability to use foresight to regularly review the plan and look ahead to reassess workloads and priorities if situations change or people are facing conflicting demands. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public presentation. * Excellent influencing skills both at senior level and front line operations in order to deliver credible advice, and constructively challenge when required. * Works well under pressure, can remain patient, calm and self-controlled.
