An 11- 18 selective Girl's school in Birmingham is working in partnership with Celsian Education, seeking an experienced and qualified PE teacher from September 2017.
The school's last five Ofsted inspections have been 'outstanding' and in 2012 41.1% of all GCSE entries passed at A* grade and 80.3% at A*/A. At A Level 53.3% were passed at A*/A and 85.6% at A*/B. The school achieved its best contextual value-added measures for Key Stages 2 - 4 in 2012 (1031). The school features prominently in national league tables.
They require a QTS/ QTLS qualified PE specialist teacher with an in-depth knowledge of the UK school curriculum up to A level to deliver high quality teaching and learning, including the promotion of student achievement as well as the maintenance of good behaviour and discipline.
The post is to start September 2017 on a full time long-term basis so commitment is essential.
