We are now recruiting a Pre-Sales Leader to join our Business Support Team based in Armitage. The primary role objective is to maintain engagement with field sales and proactively drive outbound calling by pre-sales teams in support of Sales qualification and conversion in conjunction with Lead, Opportunity and Tender Management principles and process to sales execution and order receipt.

Key responsibilities as Pre-Sales Leader will include:

•Promote Premier Customer Service to:

•Construction Influencers

•Direct Accounts

•Internal Customers

•Allocation and Management of Territory Management (Reviews)

•Control Data Accuracy (Critical Fields)

•Drive Proactive Calling

•Lead Management

•Opportunity Management

•Ad Hoc Campaigns

•Project Pricing Processing (inbound)

•Project Discount Requests aligned to response target


•Open Specification Opportunities for Sales Team follow up

•Management of KPI’s and Targets

•System and Process Key User for project implementations

•Support & Encourage New Sales Initiatives across Pre-Sales activity

•Competitor Intelligence capture and knowledge cascade

•Support Cross Border Focus

•Drive Health and key Sector Focus

•Daily Operational Management

Key skills and attributes:

The role demands both Sales and Supply Chain focus supporting end to end process and such considerations when building Sales Pipeline intelligence to completion of project win. Previous Sales and Management expertise is necessary along with technical skills detailed below:

•Key User CRM [SAP or Similar]

•Product Knowledge aligned to sector

•Up-Sell/Cross-Sell ability

•Pricing Process (Growth)

•R/3 structure [SAP E11, Oracle or Similar]

•Project Discount Application

•Auditable Focus

•Industry knowledge preferable, but not essential

IT literate (Microsoft packages)

Educated to degree standard or business experience equivalent is preferable. High Achiever, results driven with process compliance ability is a necessary aligned to Sales team focus.
