They are recruiting for a Catering Manager based at a prestigious Head Office site in Worcester.

Day to day the role involves you managing a team of around 15 staff including Chefs and front of house, making sure the unit runs efficiently and effectively with regards to service standards, time frames and presentation. As Catering Manager you will undertake all associated management duties such as book work, audits, training and recruitment. You will manage the unit which includes a main restaurant with theatre style cooking, a selection of mains, a grab and go catering offering with deli/salad bar and coffee facilities as well as high standard onsite hospitality. You will also be require to attend manager and client meetings onsite.

As the Manager you will report into the Group Operations Manager, you will need a background of Chef Management or above within a Business and Industry site ideally with an onsite coffee bar and hospitality function. The site is open 5 days a week- the role is predominantly Monday- Friday, working 40 hours between- 7.00am-4pm- (some flexibility will be needed). The unit is a busy site with a fast flow in the restaurant, with over 1000 onsite at any time the flow of the service, quality of the food and customer satisfaction is paramount.

A background within Business and Industry Catering as a Chef Manager/Catering Manager - Head office focused with exposure to volume hospitalityExperience in managing a team of at least 12An interest in quality fresh food with a retail twist- they are looking for innovation in the menusIdeally experience in a unit which services an onsite capacity of at least 750The ability to lead by example and build a team and train to exceed customers’ expectations.Superb customer service skillsAbility to train health and safety to the team is advantageousFinancial awareness with the ability to manage budgetary linesDue to the working times and location ideally you will have access to your own transport
