KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - MIDLANDS
A partner to the powertrain and automotive industry are seeking an experienced technical Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager to lead their sales and marketing with several key accounts and to generate new sales leads and turn them into profitable orders.
Commutable from: UK - Midlands, Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Worcester, Wolverhampton, Nottingham
Salary: £ 45,000 - £ 65,000 p.a. + benefits + Company Car

Working with one of the company's top key accounts to manage all sales and marketing activity. Seeking out new sales leads and turning leads into profitable orders, negotiating and closing business. Technically representing the product portfolio and company brand. Supporting the sales department in the advancement of the sales strategy and sales function.
Regularly visiting key customers and being their focal point of contact on all matters. Creating and representing quotations internally for management sign-off. Defining account strategy and plans to grow the business. Manage issues with accounts effectively, driving customer satisfaction and timely resolutions.
Suggesting improvements and efficiencies to the sales, negotiation and marketing processes and following improvements through. Complying with all quality assurance and environmental protection procedures pertinent to the sales process.
You will be qualified to at least HND level and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales to the automotive of allied industries. Your technical knowledge will be within the areas of engine or vehicle test technology. You must be a skilled communicator, able to negotiate and present to all levels, your interpersonal skills will be exceptional.
Ideally you will have used Salesforce.com, be a skilled user of MS Office and be generally IT literate and have strong numeracy skills.
You must have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to travel internationally as required.
