The successful candidate will have the relevant skills and experience specified below for this 8 month temporary contract based in the West Midlands. Please Note: This assignment sits inside, in-scope of IR35.
Job Description:Undertaking contractual negotiations. Overseeing departmental budget control. Developing and maintaining strategic contract management strategy, supporting the overall business strategy. Responsible for the production of appropriate tender documentation. Analysing procurement MI to identify ways of improving compliance with contracts, setting up reporting mechanisms to support this. Updating intranet guidance and preparing reports for senior management.
Qualifications:Knowledge of P2P and implementation of new systems and processes associated with this.
Key Tasks & Deliverables:Working to the Head of Contract Management and Performance, key responsibilities will include: • Supporting the introduction of a P2P system • Line Management of Performance and Improvement processes to deliver an oversight and direction of procurement and Contract Management within the Agency • Development and maintenance of existing and future contract data including spend information and systems and performance reporting. • Reporting within the Insolvency Service, and to BEIS ensuring deadlines are met, and data is accurate. • Mapping and reviewing procurement process and flows and identifying opportunities for CI • Development and maintenance of procurement process, policy, and guidance documentation. • Development and maintenance of procurement template documentation • Contribute and input to commercial and procurement planning and strategy development. • Other tasks commensurate with the grade and function of the role
• Knowledge of Finance and Procurement Systems including P2P processes • Familiarity with MI and Reporting • Development and Ownership of Procurement Policy, Guidance, and Documentation • Change Management • Introduction of governance and control in tracking and delivery of programme timings

Please Note: The lower pay rate advertised in this job description is the PAYE daily pay rate. The higher pay rate advertised in this job description is the highest Umbrella Company daily pay rate that the client is willing to pay up to.
