Celesio UK, a pioneering provider of integrated healthcare services, have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Officer (1st line/2nd line) to join our growing AAH Sales & Propositions team on a secondment until March 2019.

The Customer Development Team consists of circa 50 colleagues, with a key purpose to support and develop the core AAH wholesale business in areas such as: compelling wholesale propositions, improving customer experience, evolve existing technology propositions and developing/building on new revenue lines as developments of technology and service propositions.

As the Technical Support Officer, you will support the Technology Support Manager in proactively managing the 3rd Party Customer estate. You will respond and resolve incidents and assist users to make more effective use of desktop systems, products and services. As a 1st line/2nd line Support Technician, you will be responsible for resolving complex problems and undertaken specialised projects

The successful applicant will be expected to provide both an effective and professional front-line service to customers, responding to & resolving incidents rapidly, assisting users to make more effective use of desk top systems, whilst following set procedures / standards to resolve more complex problems.

This unique opportunity is perfect for someone with strong IT, administration and investigative skills, with a proven track record of customer service and excellent communication skills.

To succeed in this post, the Technical Support will have the ability to interface with customers, vendors and third parties to develop relationships, opportunities and manage problems.


The ideal candidate will have solid numerical and literacy skills, with proven investigative skills and knowledge of problem analysis. He/she will possess a proven track record of customer service with a clear ability to interface with customers, vendors and third parties to develop relationships, opportunities and manage technical problems

To succeed in this role, the Technical Support Officer will have a clear ability to plan, organise and control all aspects of their work, whilst working under pressure. High levels of problem solving, conflict management and a professional telephone manner is to be expected.
