Worcestershire - part of a UK rich in wildlife, where everyone can appreciate, enjoy and help restore and protect wildlife for the future.

Our client has have more than 75 nature reserves across the county that form part of their vision for a Living Landscape. By working with other landowners, managers and communities they aim to restore, recreate and reconnect fragmented natural habitats to achieve a landscape where wildlife can flourish and people can lead healthier and happier lives.

They are currently seeking a Reserves Team Leader to continue to develop the delivery of the conservation strategy through reserves management, acquisition, management planning, reserves volunteers support and development and ecological survey and monitoring.

Within this role, for your team, you will lead the development of operational plans and performance measurement; coordinate multi-site contract work; coordinate the preparation and management of multi-project budgets and a revenue budget, and contribute to the development of appropriate policy recommendations for consideration by the Trust council.

The successful candidate will have experience of land management, including working with volunteers, contractors and other landowners, knowledge of ecology, legislation and policy relevant to the post, and excellent communications skills. You should have experience from within a management role and you will possess excellent leadership skills with a proven track record in project development, and income generation. Also, as Reserves Team Leader, you must be experienced in finance and budget management.

Due to the nature of the role, a full, clean driving licence is essential with access to a vehicle.
