SF Group are recruiting a Governance Manager for our Midlands based client. This role will see you make a significant and effective contribution to Governance, Compliance, Business Assurance and Business Improvement and be an effective manager within the company structure. You will hold responsibility for driving all aspects governance compliance and business improvement strategies including organisational policies, organisational procedures, organisational plans, monitoring and controls.
Key deliverables will include:
- Fully achieve regulatory, legal & internal requirements to meet organisational obligations and to minimise risk
- Ensure that policies and procedures are version controlled fit for purpose & meet regulatory legal requirements
- Ensure that the board of directors are well informed on governance, legal and compliance matters
- Effective risk management and integration of risk management action plans in appropriate policies, procedures and operational plans
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing services covering governance, compliance and risk management. You will have excellent communication skills in order to influence key stakeholders and lead by example. This is an exciting role where you will have full autonomy to create a team and structure based on your own vision and experience. The ideal candidate will be ACIS part or fully qualified.
