Your new school
A driven, inclusive and high performing secondary school in South Birmingham are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team of forward thinking and ambitious teachers in the Geography department. They enrich and stimulate pupils academically and have a wide variety of subjects that are supported holistically for the success of its pupils.
Your new role
You role will be to work alongside the Geography teachers and head of department to be able to help run intervention sessions with the students across the year groups. You will be responsible for a small group of pupils across KS3 and 4 who will work with you to understand key topics and areas that will allow them to move from one grade boundary to the next.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this teaching assistant job you will be educated to degree level specialising in Geography and be familiar with the KS3/4 National Curriculum. It is essential to have proven referenceable experience of working within a school setting within the past two years. You will have excellent communication skills and be driven and ambitious.
