Assistant Bid Writer – Birmingham

Salary up to £32k plus parking and benefits

Our client, a Global business within the FM and Building Service space are looking for a dynamic and organised Assistant Bid Writer for their offices in Birmingham.

You will be supporting the Business Development Manager in providing the Business Development Team with clear, concise and exciting tender return proposals for FM maintenance, Access and Egress, HVCA plant and soft FM services. Together with co-ordinating the Bid Tracker and Sales Pipeline and other general admin to assist in the submission of the prescribed tender timetable.

Key Areas include:

  • Read, interpret and fully understand a tender enquiry
  • Assist in the production of tender documents
  • Prepare presentation slides and handouts
  • Prepare site visit documentation
  • Attend sit visits
  • Produce Pre-Qualified Questionnaire (PQQ) or Request for information (RPI)
  • Build and maintain a library of most recently used information
  • Monthly sales reporting
  • General Admin

    • InDesign, Word, Visio and PowerPoint user
    • Previous technical HVAC maintenance experience
    • Proven experience in the Facilities Maintenance industry
    • Understanding of FM market drivers
