Prospero Engineering have a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Engineer

This role is with a fantastic, technologically advanced, company pushing the boundaries in their respective field and this is an opportunity to help them deliver an award winning product.
We are requiring a Systems Engineer to
  • Exploit opportunities in systems design to design and develop new and existing products
  • Manage the Test and Verification processes
  • Promote designs in accordance with Company and regulatory conditions.
  • Key Responsibilities
      Identify opportunities for design improvement including but not limited to thermal, acoustic, pneumatic, hydraulic, usability, EMC, electrical safety, reliability, weight, cost, assembly and serviceability
    • Develop Design solutions for mechanical, electronic and software systems including prototyping and experimental testing
    • Ensure the whole development life cycle meets development process, risk management and regulatory standards
    • Analyse System Design Process, determine root cause and formulate solutions to identified problems
    • Define test, validation and verification strategy
    • Record test results, interpret, summarise and report findings
    • Take a lead in the systems development and architecture of the companies products
    • Facilitate interaction and communication between stakeholders
    • Support process change to improve efficiency.

    The ideal candidate will have
    • An Engineering or Science related Degree
    • Experience with Mechatronic / Electro mechanical systems
    • Hands on Systems Engineering experience on products incorporating mechanical, electronic and software systems
    • Experience of Systems Engineering in accordance with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 QMS
    • Risk Management and Safety Critical Systems experience
    • Analytical mindset and keen to solve problems.
