Working in a growing business with a young, social team we are looking for an aspiring graduate or someone looking to expand their career to enter into the world of education, travel and ski. Your primary role will be to develop relationships with teachers all over the UK converting their enquiries into study trips and also ski trips by demonstrating a high level of customer service and a sound knowledge of the different destinations we offer. Training and support will be provided from the start and if successful it is highly probable that the role will become permanent at the end of the internship for the right candidate.

Specifically, the role entails the following-

Managing your own portfolio of clients with a potential booking value in excess of £500,000 per annumBuild relationships with teachers from across the UK by liaising with them by email and phone in order to convert enquiries into firm bookingsProvide administrative support to other members of the Sales TeamRespond to customer queries quickly and efficiently, providing guidance and expertise on any associated travel documentation, destination information, and educational resources for their tripsBe eager to learn about the different destinations we offerConvert complex costings into detailed, bespoke quotations using the relevant templatesWork to sales targetsProvide an out of hours customer support service on a rota basis supporting customers with "on tour" issues where required (after 3 months in the role)Success in the role will rely on your ability to work as a team player, and plan and prioritise workloads effectively to ensure that each customer is provided with an exceptional level of serviceREQUIREMENTSExperience of working in an office environment dealing with administrative dutiesGood attention to detailDegree Educated or equivalentKnowledge of ski resorts in Europe or have experience of skiingExcellent communication skills - confident using the phone and writing grammatically correct emailsComputer literate with good IT skills (especially Microsoft Office products)Experience in providing excellent customer service in a telephone based, office environmentA "Customer First" attitudeProblem solving with the ability to seek and deliver pragmatic solutions to customer queriesStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsTravel industry background would be advantageousExperience of major European cities through first-hand travel experiencesThe ideal candidate will either have some experience working in Education sales or a long-sales cycle type role, however we recognise this is a very niche experience set, and hence experience in this environment is not essential

Starting Salary- £16,500

Travel Incentive- After 6 months employment, you will be entitled to take part in the Adaptable Travel Staff Inspection Scheme, where we encourage travel experiences.
