We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way. The Nominet Project has been developed to help young people develop their confidence, ability and awareness in accessing and using various IT equipment.We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and caring individual to join our dynamic and ambitious team.In order to be successful in this role, you must have: -A deep knowledge and experience in working with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people ie asylum seeking/migrant/UASC young people, children who go missing or as risk of child sex exploitation, children in care and children in need.-Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to work with others in a non-judgemental way that develops trust.-Strong commitment to safeguarding and a good knowledge of safe practice working with young people and volunteers.-GCSE level pass grade, or equivalent, in English.* For a full list of requirements please refer to the job description The Children's Society runs over 100 local services that help thousands of young people who desperately need our support, and we campaign to get laws and policies changed to make children's lives happier and safer.
