I am currently working with a specialist Manufacturer within the Stoke-on-Trent area. This organisation is one of the leading manufacturers of their product in their industry, in the UK.

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, your main responsibilities will include:

• Overall responsibility for the Financial Operations and Management of the business
• Production of Budgets including P&L, Balance Sheet, and CAPEX
• Timely and accurate Management Accounts and Cashflow Forecasts
• Manage the annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed auditors
• Cost analysis & reduction throughout the business
• Continually improve business processes, find efficiencies and reduce reporting timelines
• Co-ordinate all accounting activities for the staff to ensure deadlines are met on time and in full
• Set clearly defined objectives for all team members, monitoring performance
• Able to asses and implement new accounting legislation
• Ad Hoc Reports depending on the needs of the business

Currently in an accounting role within a fast paced and fast growing company. You will have Proven/Significant experience with accounting systems. You will have the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. You will have led a team of finance professionals at different levels of development and will have proven skills in developing and coaching others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be highly self-motivated, looking to progress your career and have a high work ethic.
