About the Role
The objective of this role is to maintain, repair and calibrate instrumentation and electrical plants, in order to optimise both reliability and maintainability. The team cover a large area in Warwickshire and occasionally you will be required to support in the wider area. As part of this role you will work to maintain and repair process control loops for pump control and chemical dosing, whilst also carrying out fault diagnostics and calibration on all types of instrumentation. A key aspect to this role is repairing and maintaining electrical motor drive systems and associated control systems, including inverter drives and basic motor starting. You will continually support the company's drive to improve safety standards, being responsible for ensuring all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner.
With significant experience installing and maintaining instrumentation and electrical equipment, the successful candidate will also have experience of working with industrial equipment, including motors, starters and invertors. Experience of undertaking fault diagnostics is key, alongside the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner. A working knowledge of basic industrial electrical installation requirements and standards is essential. In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have experience of working with various IT systems, as well as experience of working with process control style instrumentation and control technology.
