Internal Sales Executive - Inbound/Outbound Sales - Based Nuneaton

Basic GBP20,000 plus uncapped OTE and excellent benefits

Purpose of the role

This is a highly customer focused role where you will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities via outbound activity to increase the customer base and ensure all targets are achieved, whilst also dealing with incoming enquiries from existing and new customers to provide a full product and service solution.

Candidate and Duties

  • Experience of working within the hire or rental industry would be advantage, but not essential, training will be given
  • Experience of working in a B2B telesales role or sales orientated environment where you have regular customer contact
  • Ability to generate business and demonstrate working/exceeding set targets, objectives and expectations
  • High level of drive, energy and initiative; proactive, focused, and committed
  • Good team player with a professional telephone manner and IT literate
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter and results orientated and work under pressure
  • Responsible for taking incoming enquiries and converting to an order via the phone and email ensure generation of future sales.
  • Targeted to bring on board SME company accounts to further enhance the client base.
  • Build effective relationships with operational support staff to provide the customer with a professional and comprehensive service
  • Able to work as part of a busy internal sales team with the ability to make outbound calls to lapsed customers and prospective clients.
  • Plan and prioritise customer/prospect contacts to sure achievement of agreed sales targets
  • Managing regional customer accounts, building professional working relationships to ensure generation of future sales.
  • Close down lost enquiries effectively and work on your own initiative to provide customers with a quick response to problem solve any potential issues that could prevent a sale.
  • Providing support to other departments and associated administration functions.
  • Responsible for sourcing new leads for the various market sectors.
  • Attend training to develop knowledge, sales techniques and personal skills.
  • Demonstrates effective communication both in writing and on the phone
