The Role

This is an exciting new role where you will be responsible for supporting production planning, purchasing and inventory. You will place purchase orders according to the varying production schedule and assist with the day to day stock replenishment, ensuring that the goods are delivered as per order requirements and that they meet the quality required. You will be supporting with the creation and maintenance of the daily production schedule involving supporting customer service requests for expedited orders and quick turns.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Ability to work well with all functional work groups within the company.
  • Independent, dependable, resourceful and self-motivated.
  • Adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the department.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience of MRP / ERP systems is essential.
  • Experience in purchasing / planning environment.
  • IT Literate - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
