The Role

We are one of the biggest and our aim is to be the best. To help us achieve our ambition we are expanding our quality, health & safety and environmental (QHSE) team to ensure that our employees operate in the safest working environment possible and our customers can be assured of the best quality service. We are very pleased to report that we have created a new role of QHSE Adviser for our Industrial Services Division in the north of the country to augment the QHSE services currently provided to our operational divisions.

As QHSE Adviser you will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance with our accreditations for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 within our Industrial Services Division which is split between Kirkby and Rugby. You will be responsible for ensuring that we meet the highest standards of quality, health & safety and environmental management; that our operational risk assessments and method statements are fit for purpose; communicating the safe culture message to employees and carrying out workplace inspections.

About You

You will be an experienced manager within the QHSE field with appropriate qualifications and a proven track record of ISO compliance. You will have excellent communications skills in both oral and written English. You will have excellent IT skills, experienced in the use of MS Office applications especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. We use a QHSE database, training and incident tracking system called Effective Software so you will also need the ability to pick up new systems.

You will need to be within easy commuting distance of either Kirkby or Rugby and willing to travel between the two to provide a full and consistent service to local operational managers.

What We Provide
