HR Assistant - 12 Month FTC - GBP19,000 - GBP22,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HR Assistant to join our team in Rugby. Great package and opportunity awaits! This role will commence as 12 month fixed term contract.

Role Purpose:

  • Responsible for providing generalist HR administrative support; advice; guidance and coaching to people managers and employees across Airwave as well as members of the HR team as required.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining all HR 'master data' within HR tools and acting as the first point of contact within the HR team for sign-posting and initial enquiries.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the email contact.hr box and for responding to all initial HR voice calls in a timely and proactive manner
  • Responsible for all HR administrative processes as they relate to the employee lifecycle, for example, the issuing of employee letters, reference checks, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for providing generalist HR administrative support, advice and guidance to people managers and employees across Airwave as well as members of the HR team and the wider HR function (as required/directed), including but not limited to the following:

o Maintain and manage all HR 'master data' in the HR database and tools for all central data entry

o The process/es of supportive administration related to recruiting, selecting; hiring; inducting and separation as they relate to HR administration

o Raising of purchase orders and processing of invoices related to third party suppliers to HR

o Support the performance management and salary/bonus review processes and any associated HR administration

o Ensure the timely completion of all HR administration activities, specifically new contracts, hiring/offer paperwork; contract variations; reference checks; separation letters and responding to e-mails in the contact.HR mailbox and voicemail box

o Maintain and manage personnel files, electronic and hard copy, ensuring these are at all times current and complete

o Act as the HR subject matter expert and interface, and maintain and manage all HR 'master data' including any change requests, enhancements or issues

o Act as the HR point of contact for IT and other third parties in respect of the HRIS

o Own, manage and maintain the contact.HR mailbox and voicemail box

o Provide advice and guidance on policy, process, procedure and good practice as it relates to HR administration

o Responsible for maintaining the correct levels of stationery and printer consumables

o Responsible for planned and ad-hoc reporting from the HRIS as it relates to HR administration

o Own, manage and maintain all Pulse (intranet) content as it relates to HR administration

o Provide administration support to the HR team

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent IT literacy
  • Proven track record of working as an HR Administrator or similar role.
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
