My client is a well known and highly recognised brand in the UK and as such is looking for those who are regarded as the best in the business.
They require a qualified dispensing optical practice manager to take the reins of a very successful practice in the group for twelve month's maternity cover.
You will manage, motivate and lead your team, ensuring the customer's needs are exceeded and business targets are achieved.

The role is split between dispensing and managing a small team of between 6-8 optical assistants and a very important part of the role is to ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to do a truly great job. Leaving you free to concentrate on what matters most - delivering the highest standards of professionalism and building on the reputation already achieved.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

The combined role will mean you're accountable for the KPI's and driving the business forward. You will coach and train colleagues but you'll be heavily involved in the commercial development too, which means bringing great new ideas and initiatives as well as marketing your department effectively, ensuring sales soar.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

The ability to dispense to all levels with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A strong people person as well as your customer focused approach to work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike makes you the ideal applicant for this position.
*You must be in possession of an up to date GOC registration and all CET points required.
