Support Worker - Shipston on Stour

Our client are looking to expand their care team and would consider a person looking for their first role in care who can demonstrate knowledge and understanding.
Our client a leading UK care provider for adults with Autism and learning disabilities are currently seeking additional support workers for their supported living service in Shipston on Stour.
This supported living service cares for 5 adults who have varying levels of a learning disability providing them with the independence of living in their own fully equipped flats but offering them extra support from the round the clock staff team whilst maintaining their independence.
As a support worker you will be responsible for providing care and support, assisting with things such as promoting independence, life skills and co-ordinating activities. Part of your role will be to ensure care plans and risk assessments are kept up to date, administer medication (if required) and also ensure the safety of service users at all times. You will be flexible and able to work to a shift pattern including early and late shifts and if required sleep ins. This is a full time 30 hour post with over time available.
Candidates will ideally have some care experience however this is not essential as full training will be given, what is more important to our clients that you are kind, honest, trustworthy and have a passion for care.
All succesfull candidates will be subject to a full enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.
