They will have a proven track record in successfully delivering a range of support functions to clients including; deep application knowledge of the client business process, Communication skills with end users, Understanding the end user issues/concerns; prioritizing issues for resolution, address questions/issues raised by end users, Client IT individuals or help desk, Determine/resolve problems reported from end users, system operators & help desk.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate:
- Experience of an Oracle/HR system (Oracle HR or Oracle SSHR) OR Oracle HCM experience
- Preferable knowledge or experience in Workflow
- Problem solving, investigative and analytical skills
- Knowledge of a help desk system and managing service requests / incidents/ problems
- Respond to users within set service level agreements (SLA's) and operating level agreements (OLA's)
- Establish good working relationships with clients and project teams
- Customer communication skills, both verbal and written
- Negotiation and persuasion skills
- Ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
Desirable skills include:
- An understanding of ITIL framework
- UK Payroll Legislation
- Experience of working within the healthcare sector
We're typically looking for people with a 2:1 degree or equivalent qualification in STEM discipline, however, if you don't have a degree but have technical experience and a passion for IT, then we will still consider your application.

Working in a consultancy environment, you will play an integral part of a variety of exciting projects across a range of sectors. Projects will vary in size, location, and length, some will be a completely new initiative for the client others will be part of an existing major programme. Each project that you work on has its own unique working environment enabling you to build up your network as well as your skills. Every project is different and our employees really value the variety of the roles.
As part of the CIC, you will have the opportunity to travel to client's sites and other IBM and CIC centres across the UK, sometimes even further! Travel flexibility is important to us as our clients often like to work with you face to face. You will be expected to travel throughout your employment so we are looking for explorers, those people who are willing to go the extra mile for our clients (quite literally!). If you are not willing to travel to projects then we won't be able to consider your application.
All applicants must hold a UK work permit or visa valid for a two year period prior to applying. Unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship and have no future plans to do so. For certain projects, ideally candidates will be British Nationals with a minimum of 5 years UK residency, preferably 10 years.
