Are you a band 5 nurse seeking your next career move? Are you a senior nurse that is seeking a challenge with a reputable employer? Our client is offering a nurse an excellent opportunity for a registered general nurse (RGN) to work for them, one of the leading care groups in the country. Our client boasts over 40 care homes throughout the country, with over 1000 staff they are a a magnet for nurses who are seeking employment with career promise and training and development.Their requirement for clinical lead resides at their large and recently opened care home in Coventry. The home has over 70 beds with large gardens and a specialised dementia unit, 30 staff members and a large living area that hosts entertainment occassionally. The home also boasts a cinema, a hairdressers, a small convenience store and its own mini bus for day trips.As clinical lead you will be required to work within a team to ensure that all safety standards are met and that residents are happy and content in their environment. You will at times work alone and be expected to train and develop junior members of staff, agency staff and care assistants from time to time. You will administer medications and will create care plans for residents who are in need of extra help. You will identify issues and raise concerns that should be dealt with accordingly. Through your excellent use of communication you will establish great relationships with staff, residents and families of residents and help boost moral throughout the home. Overall you will be a trusted edition to the team and port of call for anyone who needs assistance and will always show empathy to those who need extra care.This particular role is permanent and full time with a generous salary as well as pension. You will be required to work mainy days and work at least 36 hours per week.
What do you need for this role?A great attitude and excellent communication skillsA friendly manner as well as a trustworthy attitude.You will have a clear and valid NMC pin and possess at least 1 years experience working as a team leader or clinical lead.You will be able to demonstrate clinical skills as well as supernumeracy.You will be a team player and a team leader and be able to delegate staff accordingly and efficiently.
