Are you passionate about the arts and would you like to gain some hands-on events management and fundraising experience in a popular and busy regional community arts venue?

The Courtyard is offering a six-month voluntary opportunity (up to 16 hours a week) from September 2017 to work alongside the Fundraising Manager, within the Communications team, to assist with planning, marketing and running fundraising events and activities, as well as assisting with fundraising administration functions eg organising raffles. This is an ideal opportunity for someone whose career aspirations lie in arts administration especially fundraising, communications and events management,
and will enable them to gain invaluable hands-on experience within a popular mid-scale arts centre.

This is a volunteer role but basic travel expenses will be paid (public transport or car mileage) and lunch will be provided in The Courtyard's Caf?? Bar on the days the volunteer is assisting. If required, car parking will also be provided foc in The CY car park and this will be in the form of a temporary car park pass. The volunteer will also be entitled to the staff rates for soft drinks, teas and coffees from the bar.
