• Ensure there are no customer operational failures due to equipment failure
• Customer Support
• Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment
• Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales to a high standard
• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks in a busy automated warehouse
• Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis
• Support with project and facility management work
• Ability to articulate detailed reports
• Support existing site based BEUMER Group CS colleagues
• Monitor Operational sorter performances and implementing of continuous improvement measures at customer request
• Perform systems analysis on various systems including S7, PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network
Find new ways to use your talents
• Ideally you will be educated with ONC in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
• Experience in similar roles with a minimum of 2 years
• You will be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• The ideal person for this role will be thorough and must be able to pay meticulous attention
to detail
• You will be a strong communicator across all levels and have great organisational skills
• Good time keeping skills
• Must be proactive and capable of meeting targets and deadlines
• Capable of self-learning with supporting documentation
• Must have sorter performance analysis (Sorter Dashboard) experience
• Ability to backup and restore PLC
• Must have Sortation and Distribution Systems knowledge (CS) Mechanics (Basic)
• Knowledge of Emergency Stop system
• Knowledge of Safety Supervision Systems
• Knowledge of conducting sorter Health Checks (LS4000)
