Position: Warehouse Operative/Refurb Operative

Location: Hereford

Type of role: Full time Permanent

Salary:GBP14,625 per annum plus excellent benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week between 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday

Warehouse Operative duties include but not limited to:

  • Goods-in, receipt and putting away of new stock - Raise Delivery Query Reports for any defects and quantity differences
  • Quality check of Special Orders against Prescription
  • Picking and assembling of equipment
  • Pre-issue checks
  • Goods-in, refurbishment, quality assurance and putting away of returned stock
  • Cleaning, decontamination and preparation of returned equipment
  • Support in house occupational therapist with cataloguing Returned Specials
  • Ensure all parts used are accounted and recorded for with a monthly count for Finance Reconciliation
  • Support Prescriber visits in store with equipment advice and demonstration
  • Housekeeping including perpetual inventory checks (PI)
  • Appropriate use of stock management system

Warehouse Operative Keys Skills and competencies include:

  • Literate and competent use of English and IT literate to a basic level
  • Good time keeping and time management
  • Physically capable to do the job due to heavy items
  • Able to take and follow instructions
  • Planning and organising with a Good attention to detail
  • Team worker
