About the role
You will be required to support Health, Safety and Wellbeing within Severn Trent Services towards our vision that no-one gets hurt or made unwell by what we do, whilst working in partnership with Severn Trent managers and teams to deliver pragmatic and simple solutions that enable operational excellence and outstanding customer service, safely. Key accountabilities will include establishing formal communication routes with STS UK and our client to ensure two way communications, proactively determining and implementing communication with all staff and sub-contractors. You will also be required to monitor and interpret Health & Safety and Environmental performance data and use to target areas of future improvement, therefore excellent interpretation, presentation and written skills are vital to being successful in this role. **SHE: Safety, Health and Environmental
You will bring to the team a proven track record in instigation, control and delivery of Health and Safety/Environmental Projects, experience of supporting SHE within operational environments and an effective understanding of 'Occupational Health' and its implementation within the workplace. Professional Chartered Membership of IOSH is essential to being successful in this role, a NEBOSH Certificate (Construction Certificate preferred) or equivalent would also be beneficial. You will also have experience of working with international standards OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004.
