Our client has been serving the Motor Home community for almost 40 years and has one of the largest motor home showrooms in Europe including 15 service centre bays. Due to continued growth they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy aftersales team based in Telford, Shropshire.

Within the next 12 months our client will be relocating to purpose built premises in Stafford, therefore the ideal candidate will live within travel distance of both Telford & Stafford.

The main function of the role is to assist customers at the service desk with work requirements, quotations and advice in a professional, friendly manner.

Job Title and Location:

Service Advisor in Telford / Stafford.

Salary and Benefits:

Basic salary is circa GBP19,000 plus bonus and company benefit scheme.

Type of Role:

This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday with a rota for Saturday mornings.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

-Ensure customers are aware of service and repair work required
-Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
-Sell additional products as appropriate to customers needs gaining authority
-Advise on time scales and collection arrangements
-Update customer and vehicle records

Skills and Experience Required:

It is essential that you have current or recent experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, have a stable career history and hold a full valid driving licence. The successful candidate will be based within travel distance of both Telford and Stafford.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate high CSI scores, achievement of sales objectives, clear and effective communication skills and a friendly but professional approach with customers.
