Salary:Competitive Salary - depending upon experience

Head of Central Data required for large healthcare organisation based in Coventry. This role will report directly into the Finance Director and have overall responsibility for the Central Data department of fifty colleagues.

You will be responsible for leading and driving the Central Data teams ensuring the delivery of high quality data to the organisation, specifically in the areas of CoMPaSS dispensary data, retail and supply chain data and the management of the key systems and infrastructure required to deliver the data.

You will ensure that a first class service is provided to relevant customer facing sales channels, and that the quality of data is utilised as a source of competitive advantage.

It is essential that the successful candidate has clear leadership skills managing large data teams. You will have a minimum of 5 years recent experience of leading a successful business critical data team with direct impact on the bottom line.

You will be able to demonstrate a wide business understanding combined with the ability to work on business as usual tasks in addition to maintaining focus on change projects

You will have a strong customer focus with sufficient gravitas & energy to influence internally and external and be a cross functional team player with excellent networking and relationship building skills.

With excellent analytical skills you will be able to identify and lead teams to implement data process efficiency improvements and operate a model of continuous data process improvement

Although not essential a qualification in project or programme management and/or experience in the healthcare sector is desirable.
