The Field Manager is essential in overseeing and managing the region's couriers 'final mile' delivery service.

This contract, during our busy peak period, will be to focus on the recruitment and on boarding of our couriers.

You'll have accountability for specific tasks such as:

- Reviewing the service performance with self-employed couriers for all delivery types
- Working alongside the Compliance Manager on targets
- Interviewing, selecting and on-boarding couriers that fit the courier profile

**This contract will start as soon as possible and complete end of December 2017.

You will have the passion, drive and confidence to work with depots across the region as part of a growing team.

Essential Skills for the role:

- Be an effective communicator (to couriers)
- Prepared to deal with challenging situations
- Adaptable to different styles and behaviours within the team & when recruiting couriers
- Planning & organising skills, problem solving and planning effective contingencies and solutions
- Competent in data interrogation and basic understanding of excel and well as being computer literate
- Professional appearance, articulate and able to communicate confidently at all levels
