Year 6 Graduate Teaching Assistant - Birmingham Primary School - September Start

Are you a graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree in a curriculum based subject?

Do you have previous experience of working in a primary school or working with primary school aged children?

Are you looking to train as a primary school teacher next September and would like more experience to strengthen your application and knowledge?

An Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school, close to Birmingham, has approached Edustaff to help recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join them on a full time basis. The position will commence in the new academic year and will run until July. The school's Head wishes to interview potential Teaching Assistants in the first or second week back in September.

As a Graduate Year 6 Teaching Assistant the school are looking for an exceptional graduate in ideally English or Maths to help develop their Key Stage 2 pupils in all subjects. As well as this you will support the school's class teacher in Year 6 in all manner of activities including SATS preparation.

Everyday as a Graduate Teaching Assistant is different, because of this you need to be very adaptable and flexible in your approach to teaching and learning. The school require a candidate that can easily empathise with their pupil as well as ensuring all learning objectives are met in a professional manner.
