You should be an eager humanities graduate who has previous experience supporting children and achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree. The school wants graduates who can inspire and motive pupils and share their knowledge with teachers and pupils alike. You will be a graduate who can show your empathetic persona when supporting learning and act as a role model to your pupils.

As a Teaching Assistant - Humanities you will be working primarily as part of the established Humanities faculty and you will be guiding SEN students through the curriculum. You will have the responsibility of progressing your teaching abilities through the advice of a senior teacher and bringing your own ideas to lessons plans. In this post you will be taking groups of students of particularly low or high ability and acting as their academic mentors.
