Job Title: Staff Nurse RMN - Specialist Care CentreLocation: WorcesterSalary: GBP15.50 per hourContract: Permanent, Full Time, Days - 2 week rota, every other weekend.Located in the heart of Worcestershire countryside, this a fantastic opportunity for a nurse to join an exceptional Specialist Care Centre with a glowing CQC report.This is a 45 bedded Specialist Care Centre and comprises of 3 distinct newly refurbished units as follows;Step Down Mental Health ServiceMental Health Transitional Support UnitAcquired Brain Injury UnitThis excellent, reputable company understands that people bring with them a life story of achievements, events and life experiences. Most importantly, they ensure that the individual themselves and their loved ones help to put together a bespoke plan of care.Responsibilities:Provide sound and effective leadership, coaching, training and support to junior staffTo lead the team in maintaining the quality of service and care delivery on nightsSupporting and supervising unqualified staff to administer medication in accordance with best practice and prevailing NMC guidance and Embrace policies and proceduresCarry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, residents and visitors and report accidents as necessaryAssess, plan, implement and evaluate person centred care for each individual that meets their needs and demonstrates outcomes within the expected time-scalesEstablish and maintain good relationships with the people we support, their relatives and staffEnsure that individuals are safe-guarded in accordance with "No Secrets" legislation, Embrace policy and local safeguarding policyPromote and maintain a good working relationship with all external bodies and commissionersEnsure that the people we support are treated with privacy, dignity and respect at all timesMaintain a sound knowledge of Care Quality Commission (or equivalent) and all other regulatory standardsEnsure individuals receive a nutritious balanced diet and adequate hydration in accordance with their plan of care Benefits: Salary GBP15.50 per hourNMC PIN reimbursedEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Child Care Vouchers28 days annual leave inclusive of Bank HolidaysFree parkingCost of DBS / PVG CheckComprehensive induction and on-going training and developmentUniform providedTo apply for this role, please email your CV to or call Rebecca Rouse on .
