The ideal candidate will be ready to influence the overall fundraising strategy and work closely with the Head of Fundraising to grow a robust team of fundraisers to deliver the financial targets of the charity.

Initially you will work with the Head of Fundraising across all income streams including corporate support, trusts and foundations and community fundraising, however, the successful candidate must be prepared to specialise and lead on a particular income stream in the near future.

Key Responsibilities

To personally win and develop integrated long-term relationships with companies, trusts and foundations and community groups to achieve mutual benefit and agreed short and long term objectives for the charity.

To build and use personal networks and work with senior volunteers and trustees to open doors to potential partners.

To develop and maximise income from existing partnerships

To develop creative and engaging approaches to inspire companies, individuals and community groups to work with the charity, meeting their objectives as well as benefitting the charity

To work collaboratively with internal teams, on joint approaches and cross selling to companies

To ensure that relationships with all donors are stewarded to the highest standards and to work with other teams across the charity who manage relationships, to maximise the total lifetime value of each supporter to the charity

To maintain excellent relationships with existing Trust donors, to maximise income potential

To research potential new trust prospects and to write winning proposals/applications

To keep all data and records updated regularly and accurately

To manage income and expenditure budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, strong financial management and ownership of income targets

To package work in innovative ways, and create and build new "products" that demonstrate shared interests between companies, community groups and individuals and the charity to encourage engagement

Other:

Supporting the delivery of wider fundraising initiatives, and working closely with the Nottingham team to ensure that annual income targets in relation to donations, appeals and other sources are achieved

Liaising with the Communications Officer to ensure constant flow of information for EFTC communications.

Other Responsibilities

Work flexibly where appropriate on evenings and weekends to ensure full event support and delivery.

Work with due regard for EFTC core values and objectives

Recognise opportunities to generate further income through events and challenges and develop and deliver them.

A full driving licence with access to a car is essential.
