Principle Purpose of Job

To assist billing manager in ensuring correct bills are raised in accordance with client service agreements. To assist Billing Manager to ensure accurate billing information and reporting is available for Senior Management.

This position requires strong organisational, prior finance & billing experience, customer service skills and the ability to communicate in person (at all levels), on the phone, via e-mail, the internet and through informational documents.

Work Environment

Work is performed in what can be a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions and with the need to deal with a diversity of people.

Key Supportive Responsibilities - Billing

- Streamline billing and collections processes
- Month-end closing of the billing information
- Ensuring all new orders are invoiced accurately within a timely manner
- Follow implemented quality assurance for all processes
- Special program/billing planning and implementation
- Query wholesale costs and provide reports in support of issues identified
- Ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department
- Detail orientated with a basic Accounting background
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to quantify and manipulate data and identify anomalies
- Prioritising workloads and written and verbal communications
- Assist in any adhoc duties when/if required

Essential Skills

- Billing Experience (With Ability/SQL preferable)
- Advanced computer skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Organisational skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the Telecommunication Industry
- Finance Department Experience
