BelkavitzSloan are representing a market leader in the Industrial Automation and MRO Industry. The company boast a product suite comprising of Electro-Mechanical and Automation products used in applications across multiple industry sectors. This coupled with a reputation for rapid response times and quality of service.

Due the current scale of opportunity for the business to grow they are seeking an Area Sales Manager for the West Midlands.

Role;

To re-engage with their current customer base along with enhancing revenue share across the West Midlands

Responsibilities;

- Drive sales growth across the region promoting and selling the company's range of Automation, Motion Control and MRO products
- Build relationships with all key suppliers to ensure that they the company are the preferred supplier of choice.
- Promote the company's capabilities and core values and represent the company at Industry events and supplier meetings
- To liaise with wider internal and external sales teams across the UK to gain the necessary support required to win OEM business
- To include encompass partners and key franchise partners where ever possible, with a focus on maximising revenue and margin

Requirements;

- Ideally the role holder will be qualified to at least ONC level in electrical engineering.
- Multi sector sales experience into OEM's, Utilities, Power, FMCG, Engineering, Aerospace and Renewables
- Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC Motors, Variable Speed Drives, Inverters and other electrical power transmission type products
- Influencing and motivational skills are critical requirements for the role. .
- Good day to day planning capabilities are an essential for satisfactory performance success
- Previous experience within a commercial / business to business sales environment is essential, preferably within a distribution environment.
- Good knowledge of electrical control product gained within a sales environment would be advantageous.
- Extensive Experience in Business to Business solution selling, with the ability to deliver professional presentations to director level is a requirement of the role.
